Week in Review, May 28 – June 1
For only being a four-day week, this week seemed to pack a punch. Prepping for the French-themed soirée next weekend. Working on a few summer employee appreciation events. Planning an 80th birthday party – what a milestone! And getting ready to meet with friend to discuss her soirée in August.
What made us swoon:- C Wonder’s Silver Melamine Large Square Platter, perfect for serving nosh and drinks. Bonus: it won’t break if it’s dropped during your summer soirée.
- Oh Happy Day’s Zig-Zag Accordion Streamers; a simple DIY for any party. Bonus: a perfectly simple way to surprise a co-worker and perk up her/his day.
- Nichole Robertson’s “Paris in Color“
- Nina Simone – Sinnerman
- Rue Magazine’s May/June 2012 issue
We’re still a little shaken from the recent events in Seattle. Anne Frank’s optimism came to mind: “Despite everything, I believe that people are really good at heart.” Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the violence.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
