Week in Review: June 11 – 15
Let’s talk inspiration! Thanks to a few other blogs I read, I discovered a few new blogs this past week. If you haven’t seen them yet, you’re in luck since they’re included in this week’s review – and as always, all are included in our Inspirations & Resources to the left. They gave me a much-needed kick while it was a bit gloomy this past week in Seattle. But first…
Swoon-worthy song with a toe-tapping beat making me look like a bobble-head doll:Gavin DeGraw’s song “Sweeter.” Even though the album was released last fall, the song calls for summer.
On to the new blog finds:Will, aka Mr. Bazaar, has created a great blog, Bright.Bazaar. Love his 6.14.12 post on a Seaside Themed Summer Party. Maybe I need to attempt a Pop-up Lounge at Alki beach or SAM’s Olympic Sculpture Park. Who’s with me?
This morning’s post from Anthology Magazine, “Recipe Roundup: Cherries,” made me giddy about summer.
And then, of course, one of my favorite blogs, Kinfolk Magazine, reminded me the weather should never get you down.
Quote of the Week:“One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.” – Henry Miller
If you’re celebrating Father’s Day this weekend, hope it’s memorable in the best possible way! Until next time…
