In lieu of what I had planned to post today and the events in Newtown, Connecticut, I decided write a brief personal note. My heart is broken for those affected at Sandy Hook Elementary. As a parent of two young boys I cannot begin to imagine what the families are going through today.

My prayers are for the families and their loved ones who are deeply impacted by this tragedy; while they experience grief, may they find comfort. My prayers are for the surviving children; may they find laughter and joy – some part of their innocence and wonder – once again.

Hold your loved ones close today, tomorrow and always.
