There’s something magical about seeing your corner of the world lit in those tiny lights during the holidays. They have a warm glow like no other that makes you smile. They seem all the more wonderful when there’s a blanket of snow – they illuminate an entire street with so little effort.

Seeing Christmas lights is something the young and old can enjoy together whether on foot or in the car. It also gets everyone out of house if you have a little cabin fever brewing. To add to the fun, after bundling up, hand everyone a tumbler of hot cocoa or apple cider to carry if exploring on foot. If you’re viewing from the car, listen to the Nutcracker Suite, hand out a little treat, and bring along some cozy blankets so you feel like you’re sitting in very own sleigh. Whether you have kids – or guests – who are 3, 13, or 30, each will find their own joy and wonder in the season seeing the lights.
