My annual scramble to find the right outfit for New Year’s Eve seems to kick in the day after Christmas. I love the thought of going to a party dressed to the nines and dancing the night away. Skipping the traditional LBD and finding something to make a statement in a crowd would be a lot of fun. Having the right coat to keep me warm during the cab ride would also be a must – and that little brocade number is perfect!

However, with chaos of the holidays coming to a close, I like the idea of a laid back night at home with my family. Donning my signature look – v-neck tee and my favorite jeans – keeps it easy; a cardigan keeps me warm; but the crystal necklace adds a little shimmer to keep it fun.

One thing not above, but it’s the easiest choice of the night, is a glass of bubbly to ring in the new year!
