The Tyke Basket {easter ideas}
This week is dedicated to ideas for Easter weekend. Today’s topic: tyke baskets.
My boys have soft baskets similar to this one. I got them on super sale since it was thisclose to Easter when I ordered them for their first Easters – and yes, their names are on them too. I dutifully put them away for safe-keeping once Easter is over but when they are out, the boys love carrying them around the house with their trains and cars safely tucked inside. It’s rather sweet to watch. I like them because they’re small and easy to fill with just a few meaningful items. I like including something for an outside activity and one item for inside zen time. I also think it’s fun to include an item for dressing up when we’re at Gigi’s table for brunch. Once I’m done putting the basket together, I just add a simple bow on the top. (And if you rather skip the plastic grass as filler, shredded wood chips or crinkled paper grass are excellent options.)
