I *had* to share this picture of the Ice Hotel in Sweden today. Wouldn’t you like to step into that room for a few minutes to cool off a bit from this crazy heat wave? I’m sorry to say Sunday’s heat beat me as I attempted to find a quote for yesterday – I couldn’t find one that was fitting *and* positive. All I could think of was Dante’s Inferno while doing my best to cool down the house with our fans and filling up the kiddie pool for my boys.

The flip side of all this heat, admittedly, I’ve been entertained seeing Facebook posts, blog posts and whatnot about how people are trying to keep their cool, or doing their best to have fun with the heat, like baking cookies in their cars or literally frying an egg on the sidewalk. For me, I think I’ll experiment with an amazing apricot and cherry sangria Jenn shared on A Blog Named Scout. Sounds like the perfect beverage to enjoy once twilight hits on the patio.
