A Sweet 16 in Neon
Last weekend I helped my good friend, Sarah, with her daughter’s 16th birthday. Sarah is a long time friend of mine; we went to high school together and were locker partners our senior year – talk about memories! Along with an afternoon of jet skiing and pizza, which is still a top food choice for teenagers, we think we might have figured out a recipe for a fun-filled teen party. Read on…
Add one group of teenagers with two parts of beautiful day. Mix in day-glow products, flashing rings and black-light bulbs.
Include an item to celebrate the milestone event (a framed guest “book”).
Add lawn twister, two painted frames and prop basket.
Combine until laughter is heard.
(And for extra goodness sprinkle with water squirters and a fire pit.)
Until next time…
Cheers!
