Dressing Up. Dressing Down.
I needed a little inspiration in what to wear for Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas morning. Usually my Eve wear includes a warm cardigan sweater, jean and boots. So comfortable yet predictable. I think it’s time to step it up a notch this year by dressing up a little (and that dress is on sale!). The tights will keep my legs warm while we’re on the ferry, heading to Grandma’s.
In the morning, I usually throw on a hoodie over my jammies (let’s be real: it’s usually a tank and scrub pants). To keep breakfast simple Christmas morning, I’ll make the coffee cake the day before so I can relax while gifts are being opened and my boys won’t be starving by the time we get something on the table. I love my Acorn slippers – no paid sponsor here, just the real deal – they are the best! And thanks to those jammies, I’ll not only be cozy but this year’s traditional Christmas morning picture with everyone in front of the tree won’t include me in sweats.
